When is the Great Migration?

The best time to go is either June-October or December-March. The animals are at their peak movement during these periods.

Is Kenya cheaper or more expensive than other African countries for safaris?

On average, the lodges in Kenya are typically a little less expensive than in Tanzania. There is a plethora of safari types as well. Flying, mobile tented, walking, and horseback safaris are all available.

Is it safe for children?

Absolutely. Brownell does not recommend children under the age of 9 travel to Africa, but safaris can be an excellent trip for families to take together. In fact, African safaris are extremely sought after for multi-generational travel.
