Yamila was born in Argentina, into a big Italian family. She grew up taking road trips with her
parents and her brother, where her dad would sometimes drive for up to 20 hours straight to get
to all corners of the country. As the years went by, she knew she wanted to see more of the
world.

When she was 19, she flew internationally for the first time, to live and study in Boston for 2
months. This experience not only awakened her passion for international travel, but also
introduced her to the man she would end up marrying 11 years later!

At the age of 23, she moved to Dubai to join Emirates Airline, where she lived and worked for 8
years. During that time she moved up to Business Class and, eventually, to Cabin Supervisor,
managing multicultural teams and delivering a luxury inflight experience to thousands of
customers. Her career in Emirates took her to hundreds of cities in nearly 60 countries.
She is a huge foodie and her love of food is the driving force behind a lot of her travel dreams. If
it were up to her, really good food would be present at any and all events of life. She distinctly
remembers being super excited about the prospect of plane food when flying for the first time at
11 years old, only to be devastated when getting only crackers for the 2-hour long domestic
flight!

She has always loved designing trips for herself, her family and friends and now for our
amazing customers. She says planning a trip is as fun as taking one!
