Virginia Poynor is a luxury travel advisor based in Birmingham, Alabama. Her love of travel started young – from a family trip to the Galápagos to exploring Europe as a teenager. That curiosity deepened during a semester studying French in Paris, where every weekend was a new country. Her travels have since taken her to five continents and counting.
Virginia studied information systems and international business at the University of Georgia, built a career in cybersecurity consulting in Austin, Texas, and spent over two years growing Virginia Poynor Travel alongside her cybersecurity career before making the leap into travel full-time. Virginia Poynor Travel was created to share that same love of the world with her clients, curating meaningful and unforgettable travel adventures.
