Shelley’s adoration for travel meant leaving a career in commercial real estate behind to help guide others in discovering all this magnificent world has to offer. In 2017, she founded Rapture Travels and started her own luxury travel company. Shelley’s love of travel was first sparked as a young child when she spent summers traveling across Europe with her parents. Throughout her life, that passion flourished as she explored more corners of the world. Some of her most memorable experiences include observing lions hunt in Botswana, skiing the Matterhorn in Switzerland, hiking Machu Picchu in Peru, horseback riding in Montana, wine tasting in Argentina, walking into the pyramids in Egypt, and eating street food in Vietnam.

Not only does Shelley’s sheer amount of travel adorn her resume, but an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and a Masters of Business Administration degree from New York University makes her an ideal resource in the field of luxury travel. As a travel advisor, she encourages her clients to embrace authentic cultural experiences and seek out unexpected adventures. While a list of “must do’s” is important, Shelley has found purposeful spontaneity often paves the way for getting lost, both literally and figuratively, in unknown and exciting places.
