Dotty Saunders joined her sister, Martha, in 2022 to support the growing business, managing many of the behind-the-scenes, but crucial, financial details of their clients’ travel plans. She oversees all transactions and payments, keeping detailed records that are easy to reference for the staff and clients. Additionally, Dotty is the team’s primary expert on travel insurance, helping clients protect their investments in their travel experiences. As an avid fan of being on the water, either on her own boat or a luxury cruise line, she is also the lead designer for ocean-based journeys.

Her prior work in the healthcare industry brings contracting, implementation, and operations experience to the team. Most recently, as an entrepreneur in her custom goods and e-commerce boutique, she has developed a focus on customer service, business management, and the desire to deliver a top-quality product.

As the wife of a retired airline captain and mother of two boys in high school, Dotty has enjoyed traveling all over the world with her family. Raised in Richmond, Virginia, she settled in Annapolis, Maryland after college. She enjoys her life on the Chesapeake Bay, where boating and family fun are a big part of her life. Dotty is an active member of the Annapolis Yacht Club and spent the past 12 years running a successful race program with her husband on their 33’ sailboat, Monkey Dust. She also served numerous times as the Hospitality Chair for the bi-annual Annapolis to Newport Race and on various other committees.
