Annie’s love for travel was inspired by her parents, who instilled in her a zest for adventure and encouraged her to attend college in Seville, Spain, where she fell in love with a world vastly different than her hometown in Michigan. Moving to Barcelona after graduating from college, Annie worked as a casting director for the Gaudí Fashion Week event before she left to travel around Australia for nearly a year. Being called back to the States, Annie then found herself in San Francisco, where she continued to work for the Fashion Week franchise. Her Spanish language skills helped her land a position heading the Latin division of a talent agency, booking on-camera models and voice-over actors.

After moving to Los Angeles, Annie earned a master’s in education from Pepperdine University and spent a decade teaching at private schools. After having her son, she was drawn back to the fashion world, expanding into marketing and running her own boutique agency for several years. Ultimately, Annie realized her true calling was to help others explore the world, leading her to become a travel advisor. She is thrilled to partner with Brownell, aiming to create lifelong memories for her clients.
