Just a few blocks from Central Park, you can get a ride on the hotel’s ped-cab when the weather is nice, and have a picnic for a bit of nature just minutes away. In the summertime, the Mark’s sailboat is the coolest way to explore New York Harbor and have an experience that nearly every other visitor to New York wouldn’t have the opportunity to do!
The art deco style of The Mark, with its very photo-worthy lobby floor, really sets it apart from other top hotels (added perk, which you may want to check is still a thing: it has an upgrade at booking, which makes it a good value). Especially by NYC standards, the rooms are huge, and go all the way up to amazing multi-bedroom apartments! The Mark’s team has also unfailingly been so eager to help our clients over the years, that they always go out of their way to put special touches on the trip.
Take advantage of the Mark’s complimentary pedicab for rides to reservations nearby!
Don’t leave without a meal in Jean-George’s restaurant (even if it’s room service), and a trip across the street to the famous Zitomer’s pharmacy. They sell every type of beauty cream or fancy product imaginable, along with the normal pharmacy goods. It’s a UES institution, and worth popping in!
The hotel features The Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges and The Mark Bar, both available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Mark Restaurant features an elevated culinary experience crafted by globally acclaimed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The Mark bar offers a chic ambiance with custom craft cocktails perfect for after work, before dinner, and after dinner.
