Defining Factor

Built by volcanoes and preserved by coral reefs, the nature in Teti’aroa is virtually untouched, allowing guests to see the eco-diverse wildlife thrive in their natural environment. Depending on the time of year, you can spot the Pacific whale migration or witness green sea turtles nesting and eggs hatching. Though centered around sustaining the atoll’s beauty, The Brando maintains a high-level of exclusive, private luxury with individual plunge pools in each villa and relaxing spa treatments.

Insider Tips

Best time to travel to spot certain wildlife:

  • Whale migration: August to October
  • Green Sea Turtle nesting/hatching: November to February

At their spa, there is a setup with flowers near the entrance where guests can make an offering. An offering is a powerful symbol in Teti’aroa. It is a spiritual act of gratitude that deeply connects us to the divinities of nature. It is a way to give thanks for the benefits and pay tribute to the beauty that surrounds us.

The Brando offers several dining options:

Les Mutines: Their fine dining restaurant designed by Chef Jean Imbert who brings in a twist to a local menu.

Nami: Their Teppanyaki restaurant, available for dinner only. It’s an intimate setting built for socializing, with the Chef preparing dinner in front of you. It’s great to pair with a sake tasting.

Beachcomber Cafe: Their casual resort restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner where you can spot a rainbow or whale migration from your table.

Bob’s bar: A spot for you get a light snack or drinks at Marlon Brando’s original bar.

Te Manu Bar: Which translates to bird’s nest. This cocktail lounge is the perfect place to catch the sunset with a signature drink and unwind after dinner.
