Why You Will Love It
Originally a 17th century fishing lodge, Sheen Falls Lodge is nothing short of picturesque. It is perched on a 300-acre estate overlooking Kenmare Bay so the views from the floor-to-ceiling windows are just gorgeous. And if the setting doesn’t make you feel like you’re in a country manor house, the Irish décor with a contemporary twist will.
The activities. Ireland is one of those destinations where you need to get outside to truly experience it, and Sheen Falls Lodge gives you plenty of opportunities to do so. There is tennis, falconry, shooting, bicycles, horseback riding, kayaking, golf, and a fabulous spa. And we’d be remiss not to mention fishing! With 15 miles of private salmon and trout fishing in the river that runs alongside the property, Sheen Falls Lodge is an angler’s paradise.
