What vaccinations do I need?
While specific vaccinations can vary by country, below is a list of suggested vaccinations. Contact your Brownell advisor for specifics to your trip, and a list of places to receive them.
Is Kenya cheaper or more expensive than other African countries for safaris?
On average, the lodges in Kenya are typically a little less expensive than in Tanzania. There is a plethora of safari-types as well. Flying, mobile tented, walking, and horseback safaris are all available.
When is the Great Migration?
The best time to go is either June-October or December-March. The animals are at their peak movement during these periods.
Is it safe for children?
Absolutely. Brownell does not recommend children under the age of 9 travel to Africa, but safaris can be an excellent trip for families to take together. In fact, African safaris are extremely sought after for Multi-Generational travel.
