Whether you’ve got children in school, you’re in school, or it’s been years since you’ve had to open a textbook, there are endless ways to keep learning. We’ve shared why travel is the best education, but our partners have taken learning up a notch for e-learning or just curious travelers. Now more than ever, the world is your classroom! Discover a few of our favorite spots where you can learn, work, and relax.
Montage Palmetto Bluff created Montage Academy for students ages 6-17 who are remote learning. In the morning, the students can work on their schoolwork with access to a learning concierge, and in the afternoon they can enjoy activities with a learning component, like cooking, ecoscience, fitness, and more! And while the students learn in a fun and safe setting, the parents can enjoy the property (and Brownell perks!).
If going back to school means virtual learning for your little ones, you’ll love the Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita’s Schoolcation program. It includes IT support, a Study Buddy to help with homework and supervision, study cabanas (or work cabanas for parents!), plus worldschooling classes to learn about Mexico’s history and culture. Your children can stay on top of schoolwork and you can get some extra help – it’s a win-win!
Are you interested in learning Spanish? Do you need a relaxing vacation? The Waldorf Astoria Pedregal has you covered! This gorg resort is offering a Spanish immersion program where you get four private Spanish classes plus a private yoga or tennis lesson.
For those who are sick of their home office (and home classroom) and want to really get away, why not relocate to an island? Bermuda has a special program that allows you to live and work remotely on the island for a year. Pink sand and a Dark and Stormy in your hand – what’s not to love?
Take a field trip to the Sunshine State and the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island! Developed in partnership with the Reef Institute, the resort offers guests the opportunity for school-aged children to learn about the ecology of this barrier island during a five-day Field Trip package.
Home Away From Home
If you’re working remotely and need a change of scenery, we can help you find your home away from home. Many of our partner hotels and resorts offer residential-style accommodations with all the comforts you need to live, work (and/or teach), and relax.
