St. Lucia: Cap Maison

Deborah Barth is a luxury travel advisor with Brownell Travel at our main office in Birmingham. Recently, she took a trip to Antigua and St. Lucia to take a tour of several of the most amazing hotels and resorts in the Caribbean. You can read about her experiences and these beautiful luxury vacation destinations below and in the following posts.

St. Lucia: Cap Maison
Upon arrival in St Lucia, we were taken by private car to Cap Maison, a beautiful 5 star boutique hotel where the staff knows you by name and goes above and beyond the call of duty with any request. Cap Maison offers stunning views from every inch of the resort grounds.

My Oceanview Villa Suite boasted a private rooftop pool, a full living room and kitchen with stove and refrigerator, and a separate upstairs living area. The bathroom has a nice large soaking tub, separate walk in shower and water closet. Each suite features a fantastic outdoor living area.

There is an open air restaurant with a great fine dining menu and a great variety of revolving items so you don’t see the same items daily. They’ve also got a wide assortment of wines and you can arrange private wine tastings in their spacious wine cellar. There is also on on-site spa that offers the most amazing massages and a 24 hour gym featuring the latest and greatest equipment. The beach sits down a staircase where they’ve got a small beach bar and Hobie cats, snorkeling equipment, and other watersports. This beach is very private and offers great snorkeling right off the beach with complimentary equipment provided by one of the great resort staff on the beach!

The great thing about this area is that it is a short cab ride into Rodney Bay where you can eat at a number of different restaurants or walk down the street to nightlife, casino, and shopping area. We went out on their yacht one evening, the Cap Maison I and it was SO nice. Cap Maison is the perfect place for a honeymoon or various other types of vacations. There is no pressure at this hotel –you can socialize with people or keep to yourself, it’s completely up to you!
