DAY 1             SATURDAY 16TH JUNE

TBC                Welcome to London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports!

                        Transfers arranged by clients directly to the hotel.

The Rubens at the Palace lies in an unbeatable location being the closest hotel to Buckingham Palace, and within easy walking distance of some of London's best shops and restaurants. From the windows you can watch the comings-and-goings of the guardsmen in the Royal Mews, or you can step outside to share in the unforgettable daily pageant of the Changing of the Guard.

A walk westwards from the 4-star luxury Rubens at the Palace takes you to the exclusive shopping areas of Sloane Square, King's Road, Sloane Street, and Knightsbridge.

Lunch and afternoon at leisure

6.00pm           Depart with your driver and guide

6.30pm           The College of Arms
The College of Arms is the official repository of the coats of arms and pedigrees of English, Welsh, Northern Irish and Commonwealth families and their descendants. The officers of the College, known as heralds, specialize in genealogical and heraldic work for their respective clients.

The group will visit the Earl Marshal's Court, the Waiting Room and the Record Room with the specialist guides explaining the history of heralds, heraldry and the College of Arms as well as discussing present activities, and showing the party a wide selection of some of the most interesting manuscripts.

8.00pm           Light refreshments are served in the Waiting Room

9.00pm           Return to your hotel with driver and guide
